Jorden has had a really good two weeks. Even though his counts have been down and we needed to be careful of germs, Jorden was able to have a fun visit with his cousin Tara.

Highlights of their time here were playing games of ball tag (a game he made up of hide and seek and tag with a ball that as a family we played almost ever night for seven years), swimming in the pool, a day trip to Clearwater Beach, playing putt putt, and taking in a few movies. Jorden and Tara also enjoyed cooking each day, They cooked healthy recipes from The Mayo Clinic guide, as well as fun things like oatmeal cookies, smoothies and strawberries dipped in chocolate.

Jorden also started home school and is very excited and engaged. Thank you Mrs. Carvalho for being his tutor and teacher. We look forward to a great year.

Yesterday was the first day his counts were strong enough where he did not need his nightly shot.  With strong counts he enjoyed playing with his friends and today is looking forward to attending a birthday party

Jorden starts his week-long chemo (round 2) on Tuesday Sept 4th, a visit from Grandma Josephine the week of Sept 9th, and we are also making final plans for our upcoming Houston trip which takes place on Sept 17th.  This is where they will evaluate that last tumor.

Praise God, Jorden continues to be full of energy, eating well and enjoying his time at home.

Thank you all for your ongoing prayers too.  We know that Jorden has been truly blessed.

New photos will be posted in the next couple of days.
