Jorden continues to do well and show improvement.

Yesterday with help, he was able to stand, take a step, and sit in a chair for an hour. Getting back into bed was actually a little harder – but he did it!

He continues to do his breathing treatments to avoid pneumonia. He has some fluid, but no fever. He still can not eat or drink.

Last night Jorden was moved from the ICU to a regular room. He had a few more tubes & drains removed this morning and was able to once again stand with a walker and lift his feet up and down.

Today, they will activate and start using his feeding tubes. He has one for his stomach, and one for his intestine. He will get a teaspoon of nutrients every hour.

Jorden is now sitting in his room which has been decorated with pictures of his friends, Spartan baseball teammates, family, Tampa Bay Rays and Boston Red Sox. The family is still here and we are all watching movies.

Jorden continues to feel pain, but pushes through each day. “No Pain, No Gain”

God is great.
